Poppy’s life hasn’t been easy: she lost her right front leg due to a past injury. However, anyone who sees her move would never guess that she is missing anything at all: even on three legs, she is incredibly skillful, agile, and endlessly curious. She has tested negative (for FIV/FeLV) and is a spayed female.
What’s new with Poppy? (An update from her foster parent) Poppy has made huge strides in her socialization lately! Although she is still cautious because of her past, the ice is visibly breaking: she gets along wonderfully with other cats! She seeks out their company more and more often, and she even relaxes with them on her human's bed. I managed to hold her twice and brush her coat. She is still a bit on the fence about petting, but she allows it from time to time. She is a very, very cute cat. Compared to my male cats, she is an incredibly complex and fascinating little creature.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for a calm, patient, child-free home for Poppy, preferably with one or more other cats. Since she protects her own little "cozy spot" and is sensitive about her boundaries, she needs an owner who respects her privacy and doesn't force contact—someone who will wait until Poppy approaches them! Poppy doesn't deserve pity; she deserves admiration and a safe home. If you feel like you are that patient owner by whose side this special little girl can fully blossom, please apply!

You agree to take your dog/cat with you when you move just like another member of your family (either abroad, from a garden to an apartment, or to another sublet).
